Rates

All room rates are quoted in US Dollars. All restaurant bills are charged in the local currency (Rupiah) with a 10% service charge. For now we only accept cash for restaurant bills and other services such as surfboard rental.

Taxes and Service Charge

All the rates include taxes and service charges, unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to adjust the taxes and service charge policy without prior notice in the event of alterations by the government.

Reservations can only be made at cimajabeachclub.com/bookings. We do not accept bookings by telephone or email, however, for inquiries please call:

Reservation confirmation

We shall e-mail a confirmation of your reservation for each completed booking. The guest is expected to provide this confirmation upon check-in.

Payment

Credit or debit card payment of 100% (one hundred percent) of the total amount due is required to guarantee room reservation.

All other accounts must be settled prior to departure. We reserve the right to charge the client any extra cost in case of damage to Cimaja Beach Club property or in case of undeclared consumption of goods within its premises and non-payment of services received or booked through Cimaja Beach Club with no adequate cancellation.

Cancellation

Reservations may be cancelled, subject to the following fees:

Confirmed rooms (full amount already charged to the credit card or money wire received) cancelled up to 7 days prior to arrival are subject to a 50% cancellation fee per reservation.

Cancellation made less than 7 days prior to arrival date or after the guests have checked-in will not be refunded. In the event of no-show the hotel reserves the right to charge the full stay.

Cancellation is effective only when confirmed by Cimaja Beach Club.

Extension of stay

In case the guest wishes to extend his/her reservation we shall endeavour to offer the continuance of the services but cannot guarantee the prolongation of his/her stay in the same suite and/or same price category. We shall offer the best rate available at the time of the request.

Children

Small Children are any guests up to five years old. Small Children are accommodated free of charge (not including breakfast) for up to two small children staying in the parents’ or guardians’ bungalow and using the existing bedding.

Any children older than five years old will require an extra bed will be charged as an extra guest (maximum 1 child per bed), subject to extra bed availability and depending on the bungalow.

Cimaja Beach Club responsibility

We may be obliged to cancel hotel booking due to circumstances beyond our control or Force Majeure: weather, natural disasters, contamination, terrorist activities or threat of such strikes, war whether declared or not, threat of war, strikes, civil disturbances, government actions, mechanical failures or any act of God.

In any such cases, we shall inform guests directly without delay and shall offer our clients the choice of alternative dates or a full refund of all monies paid.

Guest responsibility

Cimaja Beach Club will not be liable for any injuries, loss of or damage to personal equipment and property during your stay with us, and/or during your participation in any of the resort’s activities. For your safety, please follow any directions that may be given to you during your stay and/or participation of activities.

Swimming pool

We do not accept any liability for anyone using the swimming pool. Those who cannot swim and/or all children must be supervised. Guests are responsible for supervising ALL other guests (that means anyone on the property, invited or not). There is no diving at all and anyone seen diving will be banned from the pool. We do not have a lifeguard on duty.

Smoking and Vaporizers

Cimaja Beach Club is a NON-SMOKING and NON-VAPORIZER facility. If you choose to smoke or use a vaporizer in your room, there will be a non-refundable charge of US$250.00.

Insurance

We strongly recommend that you take out a comprehensive travel insurance policy at the time of booking. Please ensure that you and all those accompanying you are covered for the full time of your visit against illness, injury, medical evacuation, death, loss of baggage and personal items during travel and stay at Cimaja Beach Club, flight and accommodation cancellation and other travel contingencies.

Further warranties and limitation of liability

Cimaja Beach Club will not be liable, whether under tort or contract, for any damages or losses suffered or incurred by visitors, including direct, consequential, incidental, special, or indirect damages, arising from or otherwise resulting directly or indirectly from:

Delay of international flights, any government restriction, war strike, industrial action, civil commotion, natural disaster or any other event or circumstances beyond Cimaja Beach Club’s control.

Effect of these terms

These terms shall be effective upon the confirmation of the booking and until all accounts are settled.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are covered in all respects by the Law of Indonesia and any legal action arising under the contract shall be litigated only in the appropriate court having jurisdiction in that country.
